Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) successfully conducted Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE 2018 in the month of Feb 2018. GATE Results 2018 Score Card:

GATE exam is conducted every year as a gateway to postgraduate courses at the Master’s and Doctoral level across the country. The score is also used by some Public and Private Sector Undertakings for employment processes. Direct recruitment to Group A level posts i.e., Senior Field Office (SFO Tele), Senior Research Officer (SRO) (Crypto) and SRO(S&T) in Cabinet Secretariat is now being done on the basis of GATE scores. It primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science.

The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) jointly administer the conduct of GATE. The operations related to GATE in each of the 8 zones are managed by a zonal GATE Office at the IITs or IISc. The Organizing Institute (OI) is responsible for the end-to-end process and coordination amongst the administering Institutes. The Organizing Institute for GATE 2018 is Indian Institute of Science. GATE 2018 Results Marks:

Candidates who attend the GATE Entrance examination can visit the official website frequently to find when the results are going to release. It is announced that the results of GATE Examination will be out on 17^th March. More details regarding this are yet to release.

Candidates who are qualified in this entrance test conducted by Indian Institute of Technology can get admissions into M.E/ M.Tech and other Ph.D. programmes at IITs, IISC, NITs, GFTIs, and other famous universities located in India.
