The Institute of Company Secretaries of India strategised the examination for Company Secretaries Foundation Programme on 9th and 10th June. Today (on 25th July) at 11 AM, the results for the same examination has been announced. Aspirants can check out the result on the official website of the Institute i.e. www.icsi.edu. The authorities have also instructed through a note that, they will not produce any physical copy of these outcomes.

Along with the marks of particular students, a provisional merit list with All India Ranks of top qualified students has also made accessible. The list comprises of rank, roll number, name, and photograph. According to that list, Mahima Sancheti secured the first position while two students (Gaurang Mishra and Sneha Jain) have secured the second position. All India Rank-3 is secured by Dhanya Jaysukhbhai Vasoya. The Institute has also made the E-marksheets of the students appeared for the test using which, they can check out their overall performance.

As per the marking scheme issued by the Institute, minimum 40 percent marks in each paper {Paper 1, 2, 3 and 4}, while, 50 percent in aggregation is compulsory to qualify the examination. 

Note: Very soon, the administration will activate another link through which, aspirants will be able to figure out their subject wise marks.

How To Check Result

  • As we have mentioned, the results are available on the authenticated web portal and thus, contenders need to navigate www.icse.edu.
  • Follow the link available on the home page “Click here to view Result and Download E-Mark Sheet“.
  • On the next page, Select the examination and enter the roll number correctly.
  • Then, check out the marks.

To become a company secretary, there are three stages a contender needs to go through – Foundation Programme, Executive Programme and Professional Programme. Only those can apply for the foundation who have qualified the 10+2 or equivalent with Arts, Science or Commerce.

Those, possessing the graduation degree of any of the stream (excluding fine arts) need not appear for Foundation programme, they can appear for the Executive one. The second stage must be qualified in order to become eligible for the Professional programme.
