MPSC SI Prelims Results 2017:

Maharashtra Public Service Commission is a body under the Constitution of India where candidates are selected for civil service jobs in the state of Maharashtra. The selection of candidates will be made according to the merit of applicants and also the rules of the reservation. The commission head office is located at Mumbai which is the state capital of Maharashtra. MPSC SI Prelims Merit List 2017:

MPSC released notification and invited online applications for the recruitment of 300 posts. A large number of eligible and interested candidates applied for the exam. The cut-off for general stood at 56 for both Open and OBC candidates, while for female, the open cut off is 48 and female (OBC) cut off is 47 marks. The cut-off for SC category is 54 and 45 for male and female candidates respectively. For ST, the cut-offs are 48 and 37 marks in the same order.

The results were declared on the basis of cut-off marks. Candidates who had qualified in the exam are eligible for the mains exam.
