The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (abbreviated BSE) is a board of education for public and private schools under the state government of Odisha, India. The BSE was formed under the Odisha Education Act 1953. The board controls and maintains all the necessary secondary education in the state of Odisha. Under this board, various courses are offered to students for different occupations and to prepare the students for university.
It conducts various examinations for the recruitment of various posts in different departments. This year it has released notification for the OTET 2017 and the candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the results from the official website.
BSE OTET Results 2017:
Board of Secondary Education, Odisha released notification and invited online applications for the OTET 2017. A large number of eligible and interested candidates applied and appeared for the exam. Candidates who had written the exam can check the results from the direct link provided below soon.
The OTET 2017 exams is for two papers – paper 1 and paper 2. A candidate was allowed to appear in any one paper. The paper 1 was of 150 marks and it contained question on child development and pedagogy, a regional language (Odia, Urdu, Hindi, Telugu or Bengali), English, mathematics and environmental studies. On the other hand, the paper 2 was of total 150 marks. It had questions on three compulsory subjects- child development and pedagogy, a regional language and English- and an optional subject.
As per qualifying rule of OTET 2017, a candidates will have to secure the minimum qualifying marks to clear the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2017. The candidate belonging to the General category needs 60% marks and for the SC, ST, SEBC/OBC, Physically Handicapped candidates, the minimum qualifying marks is 50%.
