UGC NET result 2018 to be announced on 31st July, answer keys issued

UGC NET result 2018 is likely to be declared on 31st July. There are various other expectations like, by the first week of August. Central Board of Secondary Education had organised the examination on 8th July and it was the last term handled by the CBSE. Onwards, the newly formed National Testing Agency will get all the responsibilities to manage out the National Eligibility Test. And, the next exam will be supervised in December. For the recently held test, answer keys are released.

A total of 11.48 lakh students have attended the UGC NET exam and generally, the board takes three or four months for the examination results. But, this time, The Times Of India has reported that the results are likely to be announced on the last day of July. The exam was conducted at 2082 exam centers at 91 cities in 84 different subjects.

As per the sources, if the result will not be announced by the 31st July, then it is confirmed that the results will be out latest by August 4. 

A total of 675 Board’s officials and 2864 observers were deployed at all of these exam centers.

On July 24, the board has made the answer keys accessible which would assist aspirants in calculating the estimated marks they are going to acquire. To be eligible for the examination, contenders must have passed Master’s degree with 55% marks in minimum and those, who would appear for final year exams of master’s degree can also apply. 5% relaxation is applicable for OBC, Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability (PwD) category students.

Thinking of getting the results at home via post? or getting them from the centers?. No chance, the results will only be announced using the online methods. It will be declared on www.cbsenet.nic.in.

  • To figure out the marks, aspirants need to visit the same portal first.
  • Once the results are announced, a link will be displayed on the front page which needs to be pressed.
  • After that, a recognisable information will be required like the roll number, date of birth or registration number.
  • Examinees need to enter these pieces of information correctly.
