UFC 242 Dubai: Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov returned to the octagon today for the first time since dismantling Conor Mcgregor, and just like what everyone expected, the lad continues to build on his legacy.

The Russian Eagle defeated Dustin Poirier in Abu Dhabi to retain his UFC Lightweight Belt and to secure his perfect record, which is now 28-0-0.

The Dagestani King came into the fight as the overwhelming favorite and priced as low as 1/5 with some bookmakers.

Not only did Khabib shock the world, but he also defended his title, and retained his unbeaten and untouchable record.

Dustin Poirier came in hot into this fight. He recently defeated top names in the UFC, which includes Anthony Pettis, Max Holloway, Eddie Alvarez, and Justin Gaethje.

It’s a no brainer that Khabib is currently the finest and the “Best” mixed martial artist in the UFC and on the planet right now. He is also being considered as one of the greatest to ever step foot inside the Octagon.

After beating Poirier, Conor Mcgregor called out Khabib on Twitter and challenged him to a fight in Moscow.
