Anil Kumble, an Indian Legendary Spin bowler was appointed as the Head Coach of Indian Cricket Team on Thursday. Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and VVS Laxman interviewed for this high-profile job, in other words, a big responsibility.

Kumble made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 1990. Kumble has set a record by taking 10 wickets in a single innings in 1999 against Pakistan in Delhi. Kumble was the second bowler to achieve the record after Jim Laker.

He was handed India’s Test captaincy in 2007. Anil Kumble played 132 Tests in which he has picked up 619 wickets at an average of 29.65. The 45-year-old is the 3rd highest wicket taker in the history of Test cricket after Shane Watson and Muttiah Muralitharan.

He was now handed over the biggest responsibility as Team India Head Coach and lets us congratulate Anil Kumble on this occasion and wish him All The Best as Indian Coach.
