Gutta Jwala Slams Saina Nehwal For Threatening Not To Play For Personal Reasons In CWG 2018!!

Recently Saina Nehwal slammed the Indian sports ministry as her father was not named in the official list at the Goldcoast. He was not allowed to stay with Saina or was allowed to see the games which irked this badminton star. But Saina Nehwal’s father and P.V Sindhu’s mother were allowed to stay with them for free of cost as per Indian ministry.

Saina in a tweet said that even after paying the money, she was shocked after not finding her father’s name in the official list. She tweeted saying,

“Surprise to see that when we started from India for commonwealth games 2018 my father was confirmed as the team official and I paid the whole amount for that but when we came to the games village … his name was cut from team official category .. and he can’t even stay with me .”

“He can’t c my matches and he can’t enter the village nor he can meet me in anyway .. what kind of support is this ..@thecgf”

“I wanted his support as I regularly take him for my competitions …but i didn’t understand why nobody informed me all this earlier .. that he can’t enter anywhere #CommonwealthGames2018”

She was furious that the officials didn’t inform her earlier and wrote a letter to Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and after seeing no response from them, she threatened them saying she will not be playing any of the games if his accreditation wasn’t made as an official.

After hearing about this, Jwala Gutta took a dig at Saina Nehwal indirectly for threating no play for her own faulty planning. she went to twitter saying that she used to pay for her family always paid for their tickets also said that they used to stay in hotels during her matches.

“Hmmm..my family always paid for tickets n stayed in hotels…I have no idea what’s being promised n what’s the demand?? But for the games when u know dates long before the team leaves..isn’t it better to book n plan in advance? Threatening not play..is it correct??”

She slammed Saina for threatening not to play for her personal reasons as she went to CWG as a representative of India.

“Funny…how such things like demanding for money awards plots etc etc on social media doesn’t count for controversies…and when asked for right to play is controversial

#hypocrisytoanotherlevel” added Jwala.

Saina, later on, posted a Thank you message to IOA for responding on a short notice.
