AB De Villiers marathon innings to lead his team escape from losing to India was outstanding. ABD and Amla took the pressure of the team which ended with Amla’s wicket to Jadeja when he was at 25. Soon, South Africa lost wickets without building any partnership. Thus, ABD was the only batsmen to take the pressure. In the 106th over, Umesh Yadav knocked the bat out of ABD’s hand smashing the glove and ABD dropped the bat.

Physio rushed out and applied a magic spray. However, Umesh Yadav continued and repeated this several times in that spell with sharp bouncers but couldn’t take ABD’s wicket. Ashwin ended de Villiers marathon innings with an excellent delivery which bounced and took his wicket.
