We had seen many funny and bizarre run outs in the cricket history. We also saw many funny cricketing actions but the comedy of errors did by the players entertain the audience a lot.
But this run out will ever remain the funniest in T20 history. Recently, in Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), a funny run out took place in the encounter between Chepauk Super Gillies and Lyca Kovai Kings.
The match proved to be one of the most entertaining matches in the competition. K Deeban Lingesh, was run-out while trying to take the fourth run off the last ball, after two earlier unsuccessful attempts on the same delivery.
On the last delivery of the innings, the Chepauk side fumbled a couple of times, letting both the batsmen take extra runs before Deeban Lingesh fell in the third attempt while attempting the fourth run. Before Lingesh was dismissed, his partner survived twice, with the first attempt being blocked by his bat and the second an overthrow.

Sivakumar hurried back to the crease seeing a wild throw from the fielder result in a fumble and lack of backup opened an opportunity for the batsmen to secure another run. After completing the third, the Kings’ batsmen tried to pressurize the fielder who came in to collect the ball by trying to take the fourth run.

But the move did not work as he calmly threw the ball to Thalaivan Sargunam finally completed a run-out and brought close to Lyca Kovai Kings’ innings. Finally, the Chepauk side restricted the Kings chasing the target and won the match by six wickets.
