In a match between Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers, Chris Gayle smashed the bowling opponents with huge sixes. Gayle matched the Yuvraj’s record with a six off spinner Travis Head. Gayle storm innings included 7 sixes and 2 fours.

Yuvraj had set the record in 2007 in Durban (South Africa) at the ICC World Twenty20 Championship. Yuvraj also slammed England bowler Stuart Broad for 6 sixes in an over on the way to the record.
