Vijay Mallya Attended Virat’s Charity Event Without An Invitation! He Will Never Forget The Treatment He Got From Indian Team!

Team India’s humiliating win against arch-rivals Pakistan by huge difference of 124 runs is simply a moment of celebration for all the Indian fans, to mark a debut in the astounding against Pakistan and winning at such a grand margin is unforgettable.

But, during the India-Pakistan game, we had seen a surprise fan watching the match from the stands. Yes, your guess was right! We are talking about none other than the former owner of Royal Challengers Bangalore and current owner of Force India, Vijay Mallya.

The Liquor baron was caught on cameras quite a number of times on TV and social media had buzz over the pictures of Mallya watching the match yesterday.

Although Mallya attending Indian matches is something we can understand, but the special appearance at Kohli’s charity event and that too without being invited is something we can’t digest.

On Sunday, Mallya was spotted during the Indo-Pak match in England, but after that, he attended the cricketer’s charity ball too. No, he wasn’t invited by Kohli or Justice and Care Organization! It was sort of a “Bin-bulaaya mehmaan” feeling.

However, he got royally ignored by the Indian cricket team. For avoiding any sort of controversies, the Indian cricketers left pretty early. Also, Mallya’s presence made them quite uncomfortable.

A BCCI source present at the event shared that Kohli and the Indian team were “uncomfortable” due to Mallya’s presence.

Look, Virat or his foundation never invited Mallya at the function. But normally what happens at the charity dinner is that someone who has bought a table is entitled to invite his guests. Similarly, someone who bought a table must have invited him,” a top BCCI source who was present at the event, was quoted as saying to PTI.

The source further added that,

The Indian team wasn’t comfortable and they maintained a dignified distance from Mallya. Mallya’s presence is one of the reasons that the team left early. The players were very uncomfortable. It was an unavoidable situation as one couldn’t have possibly asked him to leave.

Virat Kohli had organized the event to raise funds for Justice and Care, an organization which aims at providing help for those victimized by human trafficking. Former India cricketer and legend of the game Sachin Tendulkar was also present during the event, which was hosted by renowned cricket presenter Alan Wilkins.

Of course, Mallya has been a defaulter of loans worth Rs 9000 crores, so who would like to interact with him? What’s your opinion on the treatment given to him by the Indian team?
