Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is renowned for his funny and witty takes on various trending issues and as well as an expert of framing birthday wishes. He never misses a chance of showing his witty nature at the right times. Sehwag once again did what he is best known for.

Viru was once more at his best during the warm-up match between India and Bangladesh at the Oval. Sehwag had turned as a commentator after retiring from the International cricket. he is not only famous as a Twitter user, but also as a commentator.

He manages to make the audience laugh with his words and this time, he mocked Pakistan before the epic clash between India and Pakistan on June 4. During India’s innings, Sehwag took a dig at rivals Pakistan by saying, “India practicing with Pota before playing Beta.”

Pota, which means grandson in Hindi referred to Bangladesh and Beta, means Son referred to Pakistan. This statement drew a lot of laughter on the air in the commentary box. Later on, it sent social media into a tizzy as people started to post about the same.

Sehwag had earlier also congratulated the Indian women’s team for their victory over Pakistan in the ICC Women’s World Cup qualifiers. He had then written in a tweet “Congratulations for defeating Pakistan by 7 wickets in Women’s World Cup qualifier 2017. Ab to Aadat Si Hai !”

Virender Sehwag is one of the most active social media users in the sports world. We had earlier seen him trolling Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal on Twitter on one of Akmal’s photographs.

Team India is all set to begin the ICC Champions Trophy campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 4. Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin who is expected to play a huge part in the team was quoted saying,

“This rivalry is huge, it’s very hard to put a finger and tell how huge it is. It’s probably bigger than the Ashes is. As far as Indians and Pakistanis go, I don’t think they watch this as a game of cricket. It’s more of a border rivalry. They put their emotions into the game. For the players, it’s trying keeping their emotions aside and playing the game the best way we can.”
