Yuvraj, recently made his way back into India’s limited overs squad for the series against England, starting on January 15. This made him trending in social media for obvious reasons, and MS Dhoni fans trolled Yograj Singh for his son’s come back in the team.
The stylish left-hander, Yuvraj Singh tweeted his excitement on Twitter and quickly deleted this tweet later. Not just Yuvraj, fast bowler Ashish Nehra was also recalled, but for just T20Is. Now Yuvraj has shared a meme on his Instagram account about himself and Nehra.
The image compared Yuvraj and Nehra to old Rs 500 and 1000 notes, which are no more in legal tender in the country. Yuvraj, 35, shared this joke that compares him and Nehra to the banned Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes. “Good one! Whoever made this,” Yuvraj wrote on Instagram.
The World Cup hero of India, Yuvraj Singh, last played in ICC World T20 against Australia at Mohali. An injury ruled him out of action thereafter. His last ODI appearance came 3 years ago against South Africa at Centurion.
While Yuvraj is returning to International cricket after three years, Ashish Nehra, 37, is returning after a gap of about six months. It will be interesting to see how Yuvraj performs and what role he gets under the leadership of new captain Virat Kohli.
