Motorola Launches Moto X Force – Set to Hit Indian Stores in November

Motorola has landed a new global variant smartphone namely Moto X Force with a shatter-proof display. After launching the Moto X Style and the Moto X Play earlier this month, it has now announced another variant. Recently, the company has launched Motorola Droid Turbo 2 in the US and now it has launched its dubbed version, Moto X Force. Motorola announced that Moto X Force will be made available in international markets, including India in November.

One of the most interesting features of Moto X Force is that it comes with a shatter-proof display which is unbreakable. The company claims that it needs much effort to break the screen of Moto X Force ans it boasts that it’s the world’s first shatterproof display. ‘Moto Shattershield’ technology has been used in this device integrating multiple layers of material, which helps in absorbing the shock and prevent the screen from cracking.

Features and Specifications

Display: Moto X Force sports a 5.4-inch QuadHD display with a 2560×1440 pixels resolution and 544 pixels per inch.

RAM: The device is paired with 3GB of RAM.

Storage: The handset comes with two internal storage options such as 16GB and 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 2TB through a microSD card.

Camera: The smartphone features a 21-megapixel rear camera bundled with a f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash and Phase Detect Autofocus. It is also equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera with flash and a f/2.0 aperture.

Processor: Moto X Force is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

Operating System: The device will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and it can be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Battery: The handset is fueled by a 3,760mAh battery that comes with a TurboCharger. The Company ensures that the device can deliver up to 13 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging.

Connectivity: The connectivity options of Moto X Force include:

  • 4G LTE
  • Wi-Fi 802.11ac
  • Bluetooth

Add-ons: The smartphone comes with a protective water-repellent nanocoating which makes it resistant to rain. Also, it comes with a Nano-SIM slot.

Price and Availability

Moto X Force has been launched in two storage variants and the company announced that it will hit stores in Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa including India in November. The Moto X Force 32 GB variant is priced at $624 (Rs 40,737 approximately) and the 64 GB variant is priced at $720 (Rs 47,005 approximately)

Earlier this month, the company released Moto X Style in India through the official E-commerce partner Flipkart. We need to wait for purchase till the handset arrives India and hit the stores.
