107-Year-Old Woman Says The Secret To A Long Life Is By Never Getting Married

Louise Signore who celebrated her 107th birthday earlier this week revealed her secret to a long life, which is to never get married.

Born in 1912, in Harlem, New York, Signore, and her family started to live in the Bronx when she was just 14-years-old and has lived in the Bronx for the rest of her life.

Louise celebrated her 107th birthday with over 100 guests.

Louise said, “I think the secret of 107: I never got married. I think that’s the secret. My sister says ‘I wish I never got married.”

Talking about her lifestyle, Louise said, “If they have exercise, I do the exercise. If they have dancing, I dance. I still a do a little dancing. After my lunch, I will play bingo, so I had a full day.”

The sister of Louise is also alive and strong even at the age of 102.

People who were at her birthday party said that good health runs in their family.

At the age of 102, the younger sister of Louise doesn’t take any medicine, and even at the age of 107, Louise only takes a pill for high blood pressure.

It is reported that Louise fought pneumonia a couple of years ago and is legally blind, and when she was 103-years-old, she survived a robbery and assault in her apartment building in the Bronx.

Talking about Louise, Debora Whitaker, a friend of Louise, said, “She’s got no walking cane, no wheelchair. She does all her shopping. She’s awesome.”

Louise also mentioned that Italian food is also really good for you.

She said, “Italian food. Italian food is very good for you. I was brought up with very good food. No soda, no cake.”

Well, guys, maybe Italian food and staying single is the key to living a long life.
