A bizarre CCTV footage shows a hero shopkeeper chucking off chili powder at an armed robber in his face, forcing him to stop his attempted robbery.
The thief, who was carrying a knife, got more than he bargained when he targeted the wrong A1 Convenience Store in Kingstanding, Birmingham.
As the robber tried to carry out the robbery, he ended up with a face full of chili powder.

The incident happened before the store closed on Saturday (March 7, 2020).
