US Congressman Says Incest And Rape Helped Populate The World

Steve King, a congressman in the United States of America, defended his call for a ban on abortions and says incest and rape helped humans populate the world.

King said this before a conservative group in the Des Moines suburb of Urbandale.

He asked, “What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled out anyone who was a product of rape or incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?”

He added, “Considering all the wars and all the rapes and pillages that happened throughout all these different nations, I know that I can’t say that I was not a part of a product of that. It’s not the baby’s fault for the sin of the father, or of the mother.”

Basically, King just asked how many would be roaming in this world today if we remove the ones who were the product of rape and incest.

When asked to release an official statement about the incident, King or his spokesperson did not release any statement.

King is a Republican congressman who represents 30-county districts.

He has been repeatedly criticized for the comments that he has made in the past couple of years.

Before the November 2018 elections in the US, the Washington Post said that Congressman King met in Austria with the Far-Right Freedom Party, a group that has ties with Nazi.

As a defense, King said he attended a meeting with business leaders in Austria which included one business leader from the Far-Right Freedom Party.

After the November 2018 elections, the New York Times quoted King in a story by saying “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?”

His comments were called racist, this led the house to vote 424-1 to rebuke Congressman King.

Leaders of the Republican Party removed him from his committee assignments.
