There are a lot of things that we do in life and we just don’t care about them, but one thing we never do is allow a massive spider to live among us.

That’s how it is and that’s how it should be.

But there’s this a person in Australia who disagreed with that.

Annette Gray, a woman from Australia, shared images recently on social media of Charlotte, a massive huntsman spider.

The spider has been living with her inside their house for the past year, and the creepy part about this is that she allowed the spider to live with her!

The spider managed to get inside the house one day and decided to stay.

Jake, the son of Gray, said that the huntsman spider is really big, but it is actually pretty friendly.

When left alone, huntsman spiders pose no threat to people, and that’s how Jake and his mother have been treating Charlotte.

During an interview with The Dodo, Jake said that they have watched Charlotte grow over the last year.

They added:

We’ve watched [Charlotte] grow over the last year or so. She never bothered us. She moves about the house, pops up room to room, eats all the bugs. She is about 15 centimeters wide. I think Charlotte is getting bigger.

The spider has caused some tension on social media, where people could not believe that they allowed a massive spider to live with them.

As of writing this blog, Charlotte is still living with the family in Australia.
