WhatsApp Brings New Update for Android – Allows you to Chat in Urdu & Bengali

If you think of sending a text, video or voice message to any of your friends, the first thing that strikes your mind is WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a popular instant messaging service that has initiated its free messaging service back in 2009 and now it has released a new update for Android users that allows them to text in Urdu and Bengali languages. Apart from bringing language support for Urdu and Bengali, WhatsApp brings a slew of many other additional features.

WhatsApp for Android is now receiving a new update with the latest version of 2.12.367 with a lot of features. As WhatsApp is a globally used application, this new update of bringing language support helps you to relish the experience of messaging and connecting with all your friends who stay far from you. The update version 2.12.367 also brings additional features such as per chat custom notification settings and mute options, mark chats as unread or read and lowering the data usage on WhatsApp calls.

WhatsApp has launched a new updated version 2.12.367 for the Android users with a plenty of features in which one of the features attracts many of the WhatsApp lovers who wish to chat in new languages other than English. WhatsApp now brings support for two new languages such as Urdu and Bengali allowing users to chat in those two languages. Along with this language support, WhatsApp brings a slack of additional features with this new update version for Android.

If you want to change the skin colour ranging from yellow to dark brown, just long press the emoji. You can choose a different color just by tapping and holding on an emoji. Adding to the listing, the new update for Android allow users when receiving a contact card to instantly message or save the contact if on WhatsApp.

The update also brings reduced data usage used during WhatsApp calls. Another notable feature in the update is it brings rich preview feature in chats. Earlier this month, WhatsApp had pushed this preview feature on iOS that generates a preview for a shared link (might be a link with the lead image of an article).

Chat on WhatsApp in Urdu or Bengali

You can now chat on WhatsApp in Urdu or Bengali languages as WhatsApp brings a new update version for Android with language support. To access Whatsapp in Bengali or Urdu on your Android phone, you need to simply tweak the language settings a little. Before updating your previous WhatsApp version on your Android phone, initially change your device’s language settings to Urdu or Bengali.

Earlier this month, WhatsApp has rolled out the Stared Messages feature for Android that enabled users to have a quick hand on bookmarked messages including images, videos, or other content quickly. Like in Gmail marking a mail as important, you can “star” a message in a separate new Starred Messages tab on WhatsApp. Once a message is starred, the star icon appears next to the message.

WhatsApp is also working on a new feature to create an update that lets you a get a preview of the links that are shared in your individual chats. WhatsApp will not release this update, but instead be made available on the company’s beta uploads page, and APK Mirror. The latest WhatsApp for Android app is now available to download/ update via Google Play.
