The International Court of Justice ruled the trending case in the favor of former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav. The story goes back to the Pakistan government announcing death sentence to the former officer citing espionage as the reason. They accused Kulbhushan of being an Indian spy and hence had their stern actions announced against him.

The Indian government, however, denied the claims of Pakistan and questioned the decision of the Pakistan government. The Indian diplomats took the case to the International Court of Justice. The ICJ stayed the order and asked Pakistan government to wait until they hold their trials regarding the same.

This decision by ICJ seems that India has the upper hand in the case. Mohammad Kaif is never one to be caught off guard, especially on social media. Kaif expressed his view on Twitter about Pakistan after Indian government had a big win over them. He tweeted:

To this, a Pakistani troll had commented and asked Kaif to remove Mohammad in front of his name. The troll had written,

The former Indian middle order batsman gave such an epic response that it will make you respect him. No trash talk, no rage, his reply was gentle.

Earlier, an 11-judge bench of ICJ agreed with India that there was urgency in the case, and “Pakistan shall take all measures at its disposal to ensure that Mr. Jadhav is not executed pending the final decision in these proceedings.”

In its ruling, the top UN court also asked Pakistan to give consular access to Jadhav, rejecting Pakistan’s argument that a person convicted of espionage is not entitled to it.
