Google Parent Alphabet May Soon Open its Business Units in China

Google’s parent company Alphabet may soon open its business units in China, following the reorganisation of the technology giant, co-founder Sergey Brin has said. Brin is the president of Alphabet, the Parent Company of Google told about the company’s reorganisation in China. Earlier, Google did a lot of business in China and now, it is planning to do business in China.

Brin, who is the president of Alphabet, said the wall street journal yesterday that the new organisational structure would allow autonomy on the matter. Google parent Alphabet do business in china following the reorganisation of technology unit. Each Alphabet unit makes its own decisions on operations of the business in various countries. Brin said “Alphabet already quite many business in China, although it has been not easy country for Alphabet”.

Google Plans to Reorganise in China

In the year 2010, Google ended most of its operations with China because of a controversy over censorship and an attack on Gmail users. Google also sell advertisements to some businesses in China, but officially the services of Google are not available in the country. Recently, Google purchased a stake in Chinese artificial intelligence startup Mobvoi which is endeavouring to expand smart wearable technologies. Both the firms had already announced an agreement earlier this year in order to bring the Google Android Wear operating system to China.

Google to Enter China with its Parent ‘Alphabet’

Google had announced its plans to reorganise under the newly established parent company in China. This move provides the tech giant to focus more on its core business while offering startup-like versatility to long-shot, pioneering projects. Also in China, Alphabet will be the corporate parent, governing the Google unit for search along with some other operating firms created for projects in health, Internet delivery, investment and research.

Just after restructuring the company into Alphabet by the new CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, Google has focussed more on its brand-new developments. Recently, we got a news that Google is planning to merge its Chrome OS into Android mobile operating system. However, we need to wait whether Google will come up with these changes and expand its business outlets to other countries.
