In the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 between India and Pakistan, Pakistan team played some fearless brand of cricket and dominated India right from the word go. Despite India having a great record against Pakistan in ICC tournaments, Pakistan turned it to their side by exhibiting good cricket in both batting and bowling.

They were really in the game and right on the money to extract the goodness on the blade of grass. The young batsman Fakhar Zaman scored 114 and is the Man of the Match. Whereas Hasan Ali is the named the Player of the series for bagging 13 wickets in the tournament. Shikhar Dhawan continued his slick flow of runs even in this Champions Trophy and is the leading run scorer with 338 runs.

The Green Shirts won the game by 180 runs which is the highest ever in terms of wins for them in the ICC Champions Trophy final and became the third team to win all the ICC events (ODI World Cup, World T20 and Champions Trophy) after West Indies and India.
