Gautam Gambhir Makes A Heart-Wrenching Tweet On Demise Kashmir Cop’s Daughter Zohra

Gautam Gambhir, Indian cricketer well known for his active participation in campaigning for the army crew, and standing firmly on his opinions at any critical situation has now come up with another deed. He already won peoples’ hearts with the initiative “Community Kitchen”. For his priceless activities, he was showered with the tokens of appreciations from the people across the country.

Now after some considerable time, Gambhir is once again on news for his heartwarming tweet to Zohra, the daughter of demise Kashmir cop Rashid Khan. He in his tweet stated that he will support for life the educational expenses of Zohra, the five-year-old who lost her father in August.

In his tweet, he wrote, “Zohra, I can’t put u 2 sleep wid a lullaby but I’ll help u 2 wake up 2 live ur dreams. Will support ur education 4 lifetime #daughterofIndia,” the cricketer tweeted.

Following that, in the next tweet, he wrote:  “Zohra, plz don’t let those tears fall as I doubt even Mother Earth can take d weight of ur pain. Salutes to ur martyred dad ASI, Abdul Rashid.”

After acknowledging this tweet, Zohra then responded to the tweet saying, “Thank you, Gautam Sir, me and my family are very happy with your gesture, I want to become a doctor.”

The incident of Abdul Rashid’s demise took place on August 28th of this year at Anantnag, he was an assistant sub-inspector of Jammu-Kashmir police who was gunned down by militants in the south Kashmir. At the wreath-laying ceremony held for Abdul Rashid at the district police lines in Srinagar that evening, his daughter broke down uncontrollably into tears, the same was captured by the photographers at the cop’s body.

Zohra’s photos went viral on social media drawing some serious concerns.
