India Wins Kabaddi World Cup 2016 Final Against Iran (38-29), Twitter Reacts

The 2016 Kabaddi World Cup has become one of the most successful tournaments in the history of the sport. It is the third edition of the indoor format that is held at the Arena by TransStadia in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

There have few new teams and countries introduced to the sport this year. 12 teams have participated in the tournament. Team India is the defending champion and has won previous World Cup titles in 2004 and 2007.

There are few strong teams that gave heavy competition such as Iran, South Korea, and Bangladesh. For the first time, Thailand has entered the semi-finals but however, their opponent was India which clinched the spot in the Finals. In another semi-final, South Korea fought with Iran but missed the chance of playing finals against team India.

Team India has been the favorite team and it has great support from the audience as India is the host. It is one of the advantages to team India. Team Iran has become one of the toughest team against team India that is why it is playing the finals against India.
