If you talk about fielding in cricket and the most amazing catches that the world has ever seen, then the first name that would pop into the heads of most or rather all fans would be Jonty Rhodes.

He redefined the nature of fielding with his athleticism and since then it has become a norm for fans to expect fielders to take that dive and record some spectacular catches.

But recently, the best catch ever in the history of cricket was taken in the Big Bash League 2017.

During a match in BBL, Perth Scorchers’ Ashton Turner and Tim Bresnan made up an excellent fielding magic on boundary lines to record arguably the greatest catch in the history of cricket.

The catch can be called turning point for Scorchers as they efficiently restricted the Hurricanes for 134 in the allotted 20 overs. Without much difficulty, Scorchers chased down the target in only 13.5 overs to reach the semi-finals.
