Though we lost the match at the fine edge, both the bowlers and batsmen have left their impressions on the field and the eyes of watchers.

Much of the Internet is after admiring the players for their priceless efforts, some trolled and others simply passed some seasonal comments. Right from the beginning, both of them often tried to take a dig at each other on many occasions. Most of the times, Sehwag has had the upper-hand unanimously. Recently, the verbal war resurfaced the social media when Piers Morgan came up with an insensitive tweet to indirectly poke fun at Virender Sehwag regarding India’s loss in the finals.

Post the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017, Morgan took to his Twitter account to take a dig at Sehwag. He did not say anything directly but his words hinted a world of expressions. He asked: Sehwag if he was alright. “You OK, buddy @virendersehwag? #WWC2017final.”

Sehwag, being the unprecedented king of Twitter, he didn’t let Morgan go away, he ruled back and gave a bashing answer to the Journalist. He went saying that his country has played well and is proud to have such players. He, in his tweet, said: “Me and all of India prouder even in this loss than you can ever be mate. We fought well &will only get better & stronger. Enjoy for a change!”

The disputes between the duo have started back during the Olympics when Morgan has passed some odd comments on India, questioning why India manages to win few medals with such a massive population, to which Sehwag has replied that Indians believe in celebrating shorter achievements with greater magnitude. Since then, there was literally no end to the conflicts between the both. The baits continued with the India vs England series that took place later.

Morgan didn’t stop the things here, he then turned the clock to a year past and brought back the older discussion. Back then, he had challenged Sehwag that England will win a World Cup before India gets another Olympic Gold medal. Now, after England Women won the WWC 2017, Morgan posted the same update and asked Sehwag to pay up for the lost bet. He tweeted, “Ahem, @virendersehwag… pay up!”
