With the advent of modernization, 21st century is literally a liberated era. The existing differences in between male and female is now merely visible. Despite some audience based differences, Women are now being respected in every prominent place, just as men, sometimes more. The pseudo-liberals are always there, with the very idea of infuriating the issue on social media, many feminists are leaving no stone unturned in taking a dig at men.

Another incident of such ugly fiasco is elevated now, on social media, after former Pakistani pace bowler Waqar Younis has opined his ideas on the Women’s cricket. It was the reply from the Sri Lankan bowler Srepali Weerakkody that roped in a war on Twitter.

Earlier, Younis went tweeting about the reforms in Women cricket. He urged the concerned authorities to introduce the 30 over format to increase the pace and add some colors to the game.

But, the story was different after he tweeted about the same. Though he meant to compare it with the game of tennis where the females play a 3 set game while the men battle it out for 5 sets, Twitterati came severe at him as most didn’t agree with his opinion and thought it was rather demeaning for the women fraternity.

Following the plethora of criticizing tweets on Waqar, Sripali posted a tweet claiming that their premier batswoman Chamari Athapaththu who scored 178* against Australia women in the tournament can smash him for a six any day of the week.

After noticing the ongoing replies, Waqar then replied expressing his real concerns:
