Recently, Yusuf Pathan was seen exchanging sweets with the Jawans at the Baroda airport on the festive occasion of Diwali on Wednesday. As the whole country is celebrating Diwali, Yusuf thought of celebrating with Jawans this time. Apart from exchanging sweets, Yusuf also acknowledged them for working on a holiday.

He took to Twitter and posted pictures of him spending some valuable time with the Jawans and captioned them with a message which read,  “Salute to the #jawans who are working even on the festival day. We exchanged sweets at the Baroda airport on the occasion of Diwali. #HappyDiwali.”

However, this heart-warming gesture from the cricketer has won the hearts of his fans as Twitterati showered praises on him. The fans who are always active on social media were quick to hail the cricketer for his sweet gesture.

Twitter Reactions:

Yusuf is playing Ranji Trophy under the captaincy of his brother Irfan Pathan. Yusuf, who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) couldn’t back his strong performance after the first game. He failed against Andhra and scored only a solitary run in both the innings.
