Meet Bahati The Lion Cub That Was Used As The Inspiration For Baby Simba In The Lion King

The Lion King is one of the best movie kids from the 90s watched when they were growing up, and its remake came out a couple of weeks ago.

Even after receiving a number of negative reviews from critics and Disney movie fans, the movie is still a must-watch.

The movie is an improvement overall and has a more realistic touch to it.

Despite all the hate, let us talk about something cute.

Did you know that the character of Simba is based on a real-life lion cub that is named Bahati?

Well, baby Simba in the Lion King remake was not made from imagination, he was inspired by Bahati, an adorable furry wild cat.

Bahati is a female lion cub that lives in the Dallas Zoo.

She was just one month old when the zoo provided the movie-making company a video of her movements.

The team used the video and Bahati as a reference when they designed baby Simba in the movie.

How adorable is Bahati!
