The police in Majorca have arrested 2 tourists on suspicion of raping a 20-year-old German Woman on a beach located in Playa de Palma.

The police said that the 20-year-old woman claims that she was raped by the German Tourist and a man who happened to pass by them while the man was raping her.

The 20-year-old woman said she escaped from the 32-year-old German and the 21-year-old Afghan man by running towards the sea while she was half-naked.

The incident allegedly happened on August 11, 2019.

Patrolling Police Officers on the beach saw the woman and heard her shouting for help at 4:45 am on August 11, 2019.

The police arrested the 2 men a couple of minutes after the incident happened.

The police did not release the identities of the 2 tourists.

The police are yet to release an official statement about the incident.
