An 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 24-year-old man in the Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh.

The incident happened on the evening of September 3, 2019.

24-year-old Udaybhan Lodhi, the rapist, was arrested by the police a day after the incident.

Anurag Sujaniya, a police officer, said that the 11-year-old girl was working at an agricultural field outside their village when she was approached by Lodhi.

Lodhi allegedly abducted the girl and forcibly took her to an isolated area where he raped her.

24-year-old Udaybhan Lodhi already has 5 criminal cases registered on his name.

Officer Sujaniya said that 24-year-old Lodhi got out of prison in August 2019.

24-year-old Udaybhan Lodhi is currently facing charges under the Indian Penal Code and the protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
