A 68-year-old mother has opened up about her different relationship with her daughter, which includes her licking her 21-year-old daughter awake every day like a puppy.

Yes, like a puppy and it involves a lot of licking.

68-year-old Marcia and 21-year-old Alena, her daughter, will appear on a new series of TLC, which is called sMothered.

The show is about parents having strong bonds with their children.

Marcia says that her daughter is definitely her best pal, which is sweet.

During an interview with Marcia, she said:

She kept pestering me for a puppy and I couldn’t get her a puppy, so I turned into the doggy. Alena tastes pretty good and all sweet, I just want to eat her all up.

Well, okay mum.

Alena, who was adopted by Marcia when she was just a kid, said:

I love it when my Mamma licks me, it kind of makes me feel closer to her because we’re doing something funny and out of the ordinary. It’s a thing we do every single day.

Once they get up from bed, Alena and her mother chase each other around.

Marcia says that this ritual started when Alena was just a kid.

Alen grew up with enzyme deficiency, so her mother would tease her that she couldn’t get her.

Marcia said:

When Alena was very little she didn’t have much stamina, so I would say, ‘You can’t get me, you can’t get me.’ It was really a good thing to help her grow and it just continued.

Once Alena managed to catch her mother, she would kiss her.

I’m not crying, you are!

Alena said:

When I catch my Mamma I do all my kissy-poos and I kiss her all up. She’s very kissable.

The close pair knows that their love and relationship with each other is different, but the 2 say they just do not care about what other people think.

Marcia said:

Some people don’t agree or they wonder what is wrong with her. I love the idea as she’s growing up of being able to do all those silly things. It’s getting a little tricky as she’s getting older, but still do all the same antics and we still play the same games and we have fun.

The new series of sMothered airs tonight at 9pm on TLC.
