Race 3 to be released in Pakistan Reducing Ban on Indian Films.

A few days ago we came to know about the baned which Pakistan’s Information and Broadcasting Ministry had put on Indian Films. However, they have decided to reduce the ban which earlier was of 2 weeks and now it’s only for one week as Salman Khan’s upcoming film Race 3 will be released during Eid.

Due to this a lot of upcoming films like Race3 and Sanju will be able to release in Pakistan as well which previously was not possible due to the ban. There is a huge fan following of Salman Khan in Pakistan which puts a lot of pressure on Ministry to lift up that ban as it would cause a lot of loss to the distributors.

According to ministry, it had put this baned on Indian film to promote local films like Mahira Khan’s “7 Din Mohabbat” and Javed Sheikh’s “Wajood” which is set to be released during Eid as well.

Chairman of Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) Danyal Gillani said that keeping in view the importance of local film industry and exhibition facilities, the government has decided that the screening of Indian films shall be restricted for a period of one week in total, starting from Eid day on both Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Azha.

Chairman of Pakistan Film Distributors Association, Chaudhry Ejaz Kamran blamed the Bollywood films’ distributor group for undermining the business of homegrown films.

“The group has always been in power. They don’t understand that, because of this pressure, the welfare of local films will be affected. Distributors who purchased Pakistani films will suffer now,” Kamran said.

It seems like the fame of Indian movies and stars has overgrown the local production which has affected the earning of local movies in Pakistan due to which they had decided to put bans on Indian films in Pakistan.

Its good news for Bollywood that the ban has been lifted from the Indian Films in Pakistan which will help the upcoming movies to grow, even more, its excellent communication that Bollywood is being loved so much not only in India but in Pakistan as well. We wish all the best for all upcoming Indian Films.
