ZTE Axon Max With Whopping 4140mAh Battery, Fingerprint Sensor Launched in China
ZTE, the Chinese smartphone makers has launched a new smartphone in China namely Axon Max. Early in the month of October, ZTE has introduced a smartphone called Axon Mini alongside Axon Watch during which the company promised to bring its new premium smartphone, the Axon Max. After months of speculation, the Chinese firm has finally taken wraps off its new smartphone with an aluminium titanium alloy build.
Last month, ZTE has launched three new smartphones under the Blade series namely Blade X3, Blade X5 and Blade X9 mid-range Android smartphones. The Chinese smartphone manufacturing company has been launching smartphones within mid-range for its Chinese smartphone market as it is aiming to bring loads of enthusiasm for your buck. Earlier this month, the company has unveiled another smartphone under the Blade series called Blade A1 which is regarded as the world’s cheapest smartphone to feature a fingerprint sensor. Now, the company has launched another smartphone with a fingerprint sensor.
Priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 28,600), the Chinese tech firm has launched the smartphone via an E-commerce website. The new ZTE Axon Max, similar to its predecessors features same Boeing 787 aircraft-grade aluminium titanium alloy build. However, compared to other Axon handsets, the new Axon Max measures 7.5mm. Like its ZTE Blade A1 smartphone, Axon Max also sports a fingerprint sensor placed at the rear panel below the rear camera.
Specifications
The ZTE Axon Max features a 6-inch full-HD AMOLED display with a Pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels along with a calculated pixel density of 367 ppi. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor which is paired with Adreno 405 and 3GB RAM. Surprisingly, the memory of the new smartphone is 1GB less than the original Axon and Axon Lux. The new Axon Max is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on MiFavor 3.5 UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
On the Camera front, the smartphone comes equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and a f/1.9 aperture. The device also has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture. On the storage front, the smartphone comes with an inbuilt storage of 32GB out of which only 20GB is user accessible. However, the internal storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card with a hybrid dual-SIM configuration where the second SIM card slot works as a microSD slot.
In terms of Connectivity, the handset supports both India-based 4G TDD-LTE Band 40 and FDD-LTE Band 3 alongside other standard connectivity options that include Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB Type-C, and USB OTG connectivity. The ZTE Axon Max is power-packed by a whopping 4140mAh battery. The device also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 tech, which comes with an ability to charge from 0 to 60 percent in 30 minutes. It also includes AK4961 24-bit ADC for a better audio outcome. The smartphone is exclusively available in a Gold colour variant.
Apart from the new ZTE Axon Max, the company also announced its “Global VIP Passport” after sales service. The service offers features like secure data backup, protection and restore services, handset repair and replacement, along with business travel service offering customers preferential ZTE rates on flights worldwide.
