Oukitel K10000 With World’s Largest 10000mAh Battery Unveiled – Now Available for Pre-order Via E-Commerce Retailer

Oukitel, the Chinese smartphone makers has just unveiled a new smartphone dubbed Oukitel K10000 which claims to have the world’s largest battery at a whopping 10,000mAh battery. Earlier, in the month of July, the company was rumoured to be working on a smartphone featuring a massive 10000mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at $239.99 (approximately Rs. 16,000) and is now available for global pre-order. The company announced that interested buyers can use the promo code K10000 and purchase the smartphone for $199.99 (approximately Rs. 13,500).

The smartphone will be shipped via US-based e-commerce retailer, Gearbest starting January 21, 2016. Earlier in the month of October, the company launched the Oukitel K6000 smartphone featuring a 6000mAh battery. Unfortunately, the company has not yet revealed plans to launch the Oukitel K10000 in more markets as of now.

Display: The new smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel.

Processor: The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1GHz.

RAM: Ths handset comes with a 2GB RAM.

Storage: On the storage front, the smartphone includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. 

Operating System: It is a dual-SIM device that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

Camera: On the camera front, the handset comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP front-facing camera.

Connectivity: In terms of connectivity, the device includes following options:

Battery: The smartphone is power-packed by a whopping 10,000 mAh battery. The company touts that the device comes with flash charging capability that fully charges the battery from 0 to 100 in just 3.5 hours. Looking at the battery capacity, it is comparable to any standard power bank and it can operate like one as well.

Add-ons: There are many features for this smartphone that include support for HDR, face detection, face beauty, Panorama shot and anti-shake. It also comes with smart gestures and Xender for file transfer.

The company also stated that it can charge 3 iPhone 6s Plus completely and still have 10 percent battery left in the device. The online retailer’s listing also confirms that the smartphone supports Indian LTE bands as well. However, the company has not yet revealed any details regarding the availability of the smartphone in India.
