Nurse Suspected To Have Coronavirus Dies After Working In Hospital Without Personal Protective Equipment

A 33-year-old nurse from Florida that was suspected to have the deadly coronavirus has died after she was forced to work in a hospital without any proper personal protective equipment.

Danielle DiCenso, the 33-year-old nurse, was working without any protective gear at the Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida until just over two weeks ago when she became too sick to keep working.

She was tested for the deadly bug, but the test results were inconclusive.

David, the husband of Danielle, says the selfless act of his wife and the fact that the hospital where she worked in did not have any PPE might have exposed her to the deadly virus.

During an interview with the press, he said:

“She always puts people first before her. She showed up for work one day and they didn’t have a mask for her.”

Danielle reportedly had a cough and fever.

After some time, she started to self-isolate in the living room of the family.

On the morning of Thursday, David Dicenso found her dead.

He said:

“Just by looking at her, I knew that she wasn’t her lively self. She looked so peaceful. She looked like she just went in her sleep.”

According to reports, the dead body of the nurse will be tested for the deadly coronavirus.
