Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Reveals His Entire Family Has Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, an actor, has revealed on social media that he and his entire family has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

On Wednesday this week, The Rock announced that Lauren Hashian, his wife, and their 2 daughters, Tiana and Jasmine, had tested positive for the virus.

The actor said that they are on the recovery part right now and are no longer contagious.

With his 196 million followers, he made the announcement on Instagram, saying that getting the virus something that he considers one of the most difficult and challenging things he and his family had to go through.

In the video that he shared on social media, he said:

Testing positive for COVID-19 is a lot different than recovering from nasty injuries, getting evicted or being broke, which I’ve been more than a few times. No. 1 priority is to always protect my family and my loved ones… I wish it was only me that tested positive. It was my entire family and it was a kick in the gut. We in a family are good, we’re on the other end of it and no longer contagious. Thank God, we’re healthy. We are counting our blessings right now. We are well aware you don’t always get to the other end of COVID-19 stronger and healthier. I have had some of my best friends lose their parents to this virus that is so incredibly relentless and unforgiving. We are counting our blessings, but we are good.

He is also the father of Simone, his 18-year-old daughter, but he did not confirm if she got the virus too. Same with Dany Garcia, his ex-wife, and business partner.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Dwayne and his family, may they recover from the deadly disease fast.
