SS Rajamouli Team Comes up With a Unique Strategy to Avoid Piracy

Indian film industries much awaited movie Baahubali is all set to release worldwide in all major languages of the industry. As per the sources, it was made clear earlier that the movie would be released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil. Although before the big day, the release of Baahubali movie the crew members of the movie have collaborated with the key members of Telugu film fraternity to fight piracy.

Telugu film director seems to be alert and zippy before the release of his magnum opus movie Bahubali. Bahubali team has conjoined with Telugu film industry key members to fight the piracy of their movie and other movies in Tollywood launching a tirade against pirates. One of the well-known producer of Tollywood and owner of Telugu fim industries big production house Allu Arvind extended his support to the Bahubali team in ceasing piracy of movies.

Geeta Arts, Hyderabad-based production house possessor Allu Aravind said “Theatre owners have to be responsible and stop this. In most cases, movies are recorded in theatres using mobile phones and video cameras. Sometimes it even happens in the operator’s room. Despite being aware, most theatre owners don’t do anything.” Bahubali movie is currently the most expensive Indian film ever made with a budget of Rs.250 crore. Baahubali further added “A lot of money is riding on this project. There’s a lot at stake for producers Shobu Yarlagadda, Raghavendra Rao and Prasad Devineni. If theatre owners are found aiding in piracy, they will face the suspension from the industry for a long time.”

During the press conference Allu Arvind hinted that it is now very easy to track the pirated copy of Bahubali movie saying as “If anyone shoots the movie in a particular theatre, we’d come to know about it immediately because of a special code watermarked on the film”. Bahubali movie has been granted a John Doe order which is an order of injunction that is issued against unknown persons. John Doe order allows authorities to even take into custody all those found downloading a pirated copy of the Bahubali movie from various other sources of the web.

Bahubali director SS Rajamouli stated that they have been acknowledged that some theatres are screen separate shows for the pirates. He further added that “We’ve been trying to curb this menace for quite some time now. I’ve been told that some theatres even screen a special show at midnight for pirates to record the films and release it in the market and upload it online.”

So calleed ‘Jakkana’ (great sculptor) of Telugu film industry and his team is set to nab the pirates with the help of police. Bahubali which is being considered as the socio fantasy movie is all about battle of an ancient kingdom between two brothers. Bahubali is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the film is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil languages and at the same time it has been dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam versions. Celluloid of S. S. Rajamouli features an ensemble cast of Prabhas, Rana, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles, and Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep in crucial roles.
