Intex Technologies, one of the popular smartphone manufacturing firm has unveiled a new budget smartphone namely Aqua 4.5 Pro smartphone in India. This new entry-level smartphone is listed on the company website with a price tag of Rs 4,199. However, the company has not yet shared the details regarding the smartphone’s availability in the country.

Intex manufactures smartphones manufactures IT accessories and consumer electronics durables. The company which is headquartered in New Delhi has a portfolio of more than 15 product categories ranging from mobile handsets, wearable devices, home theater solutions, multimedia speakers, and DVD players, LED / LCD TVs, induction cookers, washing machines and much more.

Specifications

The new Aqua 4.5 Pro smartphone features a 4.5-inch TFT display with a pixel resolution of 480 x 854 pixels including a pixel density of 294ppi. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor which is coupled with 1GB RAM. The smartphone comes with an internal storage of 8 GB which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.

The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out-of-the-box. On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 2 MP rear camera with a dual-LED flash along with a 0.3 MP front facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua 4.5 Pro includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS. The smartphone is power packed with a 1500 mAh battery that completes the package. The company touts that the Aqua 4.5 Pro offers up to 6 hours of talk-time and up to 300 hours of standby time.

Recently, Intex also launched a new smartphone in the smartphone market namely Cloud Jewel, which will be available for Rs 5,999 in India. In terms of specifications, the smartphone sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels along with a pixel density of 294ppi. The handset is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor which is coupled with 2 GB RAM. The smartphone includes an internal storage of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card.
