According to the reports, Samsung Galaxy S7 will be 10 per cent cheaper than its predecessor the Galaxy S6 in terms of pricing.

As per the reports, China-based analyst Pan Jiutang states that Samsung will also strike with its competitive pricing for its Galaxy S7 flagship. However, the price of the new Galaxy S7 will be lower than its predecessor Galaxy S6 smartphone. The pricing of the new flagship smartphone will be 10 percent lower than the price of its predecessor the Galaxy S6 at the time of launch. If this report is to be believed, then we can consider it as an intelligent move by Samsung through which it could gain a boost in the premium smartphone market against its rivals like HTC, Sony and Apple.

Samsung Seems to Regain its Control With Galaxy S7 Launch

Samsung has announced that there will be a 10% reduction in the price of the new flagship smartphone compared to its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone. The handset is expected to be announced in a few months, probably by next year in the month of February. As it was given that the Galaxy S6 smartphone was unveiled around this period as well. Samsung Galaxy S6 sales did not reach initial targets as anticipated and now the company is planning to prove itself and regain its control over the flagship market with the launch of new Galaxy S7 smartphone.

The 10% price reduction in the price of Galaxy S7 will significantly help boost sales particularly in emerging markets like India. A pile of rumours have been circulating across the web regarding the specifications and features of the flagship device. Speaking about the specifications of the new Samsung Galaxy S7, the device is expected to sport a 5.2-inch QHD display with 3D Touch-like Clear Touch feature from Synaptics. On the Camera front, the handset might come equipped with a 23MP primary camera with Sony’s IMX300 sensor along with an 8MP front camera.

Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by an Exynos 8890 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM. On the storage front, the device includes an onboard storage of 64GB which can be further expanded via microSD card. The handset will draw power from the same 2,550mAh battery seen in the Galaxy S6. So, wait till the launch of the new flagship device as Samsung will have plenty to show off at its Galaxy S7 announcement early next year.
