Samsung Unveils Mid-range Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 Smartphones With Enhanced Features – Check out the Specs & Availability
The leading smartphone maker, Samsung has finally unveiled the new line of Galaxy A series smartphones namely Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 smartphones. After a long wait, Samsung took the wraps off its new mid-range handsets which are its 2016 series models. The new Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 smartphones are believed to be the mid-range alternative handsets to the Galaxy S series smartphones.
Last month, the company has launched budget Galaxy smartphone series On7 and On5 at a launch event in New Delhi. Samsung has announced that the three handsets Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 will be available in China by mid-December. It is expected that the company will launch the three metal-clad handsets in other markets next year. The company has not yet revealed the pricing and availability of all three new devices.

Samsung Launched Three Mid-range Handsets
Samsung has launched three mid-range smartphones namely Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 with a new premium look. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A3 which is the smallest and the lightest handset among all the three devices.
Samsung Galaxy A3
The Galaxy A3 features a 4.7-inch display that comes with LTE cat 4 network access. The device is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz which is paired with 1.5GB of RAM. On the Storage front, the smartphone includes an onboard storage of 16GB which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
On the Camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with F1.9 aperture, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), LED flash. The device also has a 5-megapixel camera with F1.9 aperture. The handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The Galaxy A3 smartphone is backed by a 2300 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.1, 4G LTE.
Samsung Galaxy A5
The Galaxy A3 features a 5.2-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display that comes with LTE cat 4 network access. The device is powered by an Octa-core clocked at 1.6GHz which is paired with 2GB of RAM. On the Storage front, the smartphone includes an onboard storage of 16GB which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It measures 144.8 × 71.0 x 7.3mm and weighs 155 grams. The Galaxy A5 features Samsung Pay’s Magnetic Secure Transmission, NFC payment system and fingerprint scanner.
On the Camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with F1.9 aperture, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), LED flash. The device also has a 5-megapixel camera with F1.9 aperture. The handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The Galaxy A3 smartphone is backed by a 2900 mAh battery with fast charging ability. In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.1, 4G LTE.
Samsung Galaxy A7
The Galaxy A7 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080pixels and weighs 172 grams. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM that has support for LTE category 6 network speeds. On the Storage front, the smartphone includes an onboard storage of 16GB which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The Galaxy A7 also features Samsung Pay’s Magnetic Secure Transmission, NFC payment system, and fingerprint scanner.
On the Camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with F1.9 aperture, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), LED flash. The device also has a 5-megapixel camera with F1.9 aperture. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The handset is backed by a 3,300mAh Fast Charging battery.
Availability
Samsung has confirmed that the new Galaxy A series smartphones that are unveiled today will initially be made available in China around mid-December and later in other markets. The company has not yet spoken any word with regard to the price of the devices. However, it is expected to be announced during local launch event.
