Xiaomi Mi 5 Teaser Released With Near Bezel-Less Display and 3D Touch Technology

The long rumoured Xiaomi Mi 5 now spotted with two new teaser images on the Weibo account of the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company. The teaser image of Xiaomi Mi 5 has not revealed anything about the smartphone instead displayed an image that shows a new white-coloured handset resembling the design sported by Mi Note but with bezel less display. The device seems to have made an appearance on the company’s Weibo account alongside the Xiaomi Yeelight bedside lamp.

The post spotted on the account mainly speaks about the Yeelight bedside lamp, but most of them pointed out the smartphone located beside the bedside lamp as it could be the Xiaomi Mi 5, the successor to the Xiaomi Mi 4 smartphone. In the image spotted on the website, the handset shows the ‘Mi’ logo at the top left corner along with a metal frame.

Taking a glance over the leaked image one can tell that the focus certainly portrays how simple it is to control the lamp using the smartphone. Many have speculated that this could be the bezel-less Mi 5 smartphone that comes with a 3D touch technology. However, a closer look reveals that this is not the case.

Upon closer look of the image, we can assure that the device in the image shown above is indeed the Xiaomi Mi Note (or Note Pro). The image spotted on the Weibo account look very unusual and show off the bezel-less display with what appears to be 2.5 D glass that fades away into the sides of the Mi 5. One can clearly notice the bezels on the side of the handset in the image.
