Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro, Mi Pad 2 Teased Ahead of November 24th Launch Event

The Chinese Smartphone manufacturers, Xiaomi has already confirmed a launch event on Tuesday where the company is anticipated to launch its new Redmi Note 2 Pro. The president of Xiaomi, Bin Lin has released the teaser of the new Redmi Note 2 Pro and confirmed that the smartphone will be unveiled at the November 24th launch event. Just after teasing the handset, the company has posted a new teaser showing the next-generation Mi Pad 2 on Weibo along with a fresh teaser for the Redmi Note 2 Pro.

Bin Lin, Co-Founder and President, Xiaomi, has shared a new teaser on Weibo that offers a glimpse of the sides of the Mi Pad 2 tablet. It is now expected that Mi Pad 2 will be showcased at the company’s Tuesday event on November 24 alongside the Redmi Note 2. The teaser image seems to confirm that the Mi Pad 2 tablet will feature a metal body finish offered in a silver colour variant.

The teaser of the new Mi Pad 2 offers a glimpse of the sides of the new tablet which has the power and volume buttons located precisely on the side. One will feature the rear camera sitting on the corner of the back. Looking at the teaser image of Mi Pad 2, it is clear that the device has no LED flash. It looks like the device is extremely thin with a metal body finish and is offered in a silver colour variant.

The company also displayed the teaser images of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro. Xiaomi Co-Founder and President Bin Lin also shared a new teaser image of Redmi Note 2 Pro on the Weibo website. The teaser shows a circular camera lens at the back followed by a dual-tone flash below and a circular fingerprint sensor placed below it. It also showed the metal-clad smartphone in Gold colour version.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro was recently spotted in a Tenaa listing. Xiaomi also confirmed that the Redmi Note 2 Pro will feature a metal body and fingerprint scanner. The Redmi Note 2 Pro will come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, and will be available in two storage variants. One variant comes with 2GB RAM with an onboard storage of 16GB and another variant will have 3GB RAM with an onboard storage of 32GB. The handset may be powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor. The device is expected to run Xiaomi MIUI 7. The smartphone will also include a 13MP rear snapper and 5MP front-facing camera. The device will be backed by a big 3060mAh battery.

The 2GB RAM variant of the new Redmi Note 2 Pro is likely to be priced at 1,099 Yuan (approximately Rs 11,300), and the 3GB RAM model at 1,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 15,500). The Redmi Note 2 Pro is tipped to share the same specifications as the Redmi Note 2.
