Jadavpur University Entrance Exam 2018: Only 1700 students want admission in JU, Kolkata. An all-time-low was seen in a number of appeared candidates in JU Entrance Exam on Monday. While today’s (Wednesday, July 25, 2018) schedule includes comparative literature admission tests (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM) and History admission tests (02:30 PM to 04:30 PM).
One of the most reality-based reasons disclosed by faculties about students lacking interest in taking admission in Jadavpur University is a better educational system of a collegiate public state university located in the same state (and district) i.e. Calcutta University.
With CBCS (choice-based credit system) and semester system, classes on 24 January 1857 founded – the University of Calcutta has already begun the classes a month earlier. Choosing not to waste a year, numerous Jadavpur University volunteers have already taken an admission in Calcutta University.
