On November 2, 2020, the staff of the Perpignan hospital in France had a surprise that they were not expecting.

A florist had placed hundreds of unsold bouquets on the vehicles of caregivers instead of just throwing them away.

Every single car in the hospital’s parking lot had a flower bouquet placed on it.

It was later revealed that a woman named Murielle Marenac was the one behind this amazing act!

The woman said that she wanted to surprise essential workers during times like these.

Murielle is a florist and she runs a flower salon called Marcenac Fleurs.

Because of the coronavirus situation, her salon had to be closed down and instead of just throwing the flowers away, she decided to make the most out of her sad situation.

Instead of being down, the kind florist ended up making the days of other hard-working people in her city.

First of all, we need more people like her.

After her business was forced to be closed down due to the pandemic, she prepared deliveries after coming up with a good idea.

The florist decided to gift them to the healthcare workers at the Perpignan Hospital.

During an interview with HuffPost, the florist said that she did not want to waste the flowers and did not want to cry.

She added:

I had to make a decision, and I didn’t want to waste the flowers. Instead of crying, I told myself that we had to make people smile, especially at times like these.

The workers reportedly thanked her for the kind act that she had carried out in tough times like that they are experiencing.

The florist added:

They thank me for my support and my approach because at the moment it’s complicated. They need it, we have to support each other at times like these and not get angry.

The woman is not planning on stopping right there.

Murielle said that she wants to do the same thing at other hospitals so she could use the rest of the flowers that are not yet sold.
