The Hyderabad Metro Rail will inaugurate the 30 KM phase from Nagole-Miyapur on 28th November by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Hyderabad Metro Rail was the biggest public-private-partnership project taken up in the country in urban transport over a stretch of 72 km.

If you are looking for the Metro rail charges you are in the right place. In line with the Central Metro Act, the Metro Rail Administrator (Concessionaire – L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited has fixed the fares.

Hyderabad Metro Fares:

L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad has fixed minimum fare at Rs. 10 and maximum fare at Rs. 60.

The fare is Rs 10 for 2 km, Rs 15 for 4 km and steadily increases to Rs 55 for up to 26 km. The fare for a distance more than 26 km has been fixed at Rs 60. A daily pass is to be charged at Rs 40.

Also, passengers can avail the smart card from the Metro stations of Nagole, Tarnaka, Prakash Nagar and SR Nagar from November 26 from 10 am to 5 pm. The smart cards can be purchased for Rs 200 with Rs 100 as the initial top-up amount and another Rs 100 towards security deposit.

Smart Card allows hassle-free travel experience and the metro is encouraging the public to use the same and a special discount of 5% is given to Smart Card users.

On Saturday, LT Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd MD and CEO Shivanand Nimbargi said that “the smart card has the capability to integrate 16 different services, and other services will gradually be integrated with the card.”

“We are committed to providing best in class Metro Rail travel experience to the people of Hyderabad,” the metro said in a statement.
