Hyderabad: Women Attempts To Exchange Fake Currency, Arrested
A woman from Best Bengal is caught exchanging the old currency of Rs. 2000 at KPHB on Sunday. She was caught by the people around and informed the police of that area and identified her as Anuyara Khatun of 42 years age. The women escaped from the spot by seeing the police.
In the evening vegetable market at KPHB people found that one woman on suspicion and trying to exchange the counterfeit notes. Later they alerted the police regarding this woman.
“The vendors became suspicious and caught her. Meanwhile, Babur and Suhani who lured her fled after seeing her being caught,” said KPHB inspector Ch Kushalkar.
When enquired police have found that she had come to Hyderabad to do some work after she lost her husband. When she reached Hyderabad she started working as a domestic help for two persons named Babur Ali and Suhani who fix contract with her to exchange the fake note for the commission.
As that will be the easy way for her to earn some money in an unknown place, she also agreed to the deal. As a result, she came to market with Rs. 2000 fake notes.
A case was registered under 489-B and 489-C of IPC sections and seriously hunting for the woman who is exchanging the notes.
