A 13-year-old class 8 student was raped in Kota, Braran District of Rajasthan by a teenager.

According to reports, the incident happened on Wednesday in a village in Kota that falls under the jurisdictions of the Anta Police Station.

The minor, along with her family members, narrated the entire incident to the police on the evening of January 15, 2020.

The police recorded the statement of the 13-year-old girl.

A medical exam, which will confirm the rape, was also done on the morning of January 16, 2020.

Kuldeep Meena, the teenager, took the 13-year-old girl to a nearby isolated cattle yard and raped her when she was returning home from the local market.

The 13-year-old girl’s screams were heard by the brother, who rushed to the spot and saved her.

The brother rescued the minor, Meena escaped the sight.

The police registered a case against Meena under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.

Authorities are now trying to find and arrest Kuldeep Meena.
