Officials have confirmed that 3 people have been killed and 8 people have sustained injuries in a Bus-Dumper accident in Shahjahanpur today.

A private bus, double decker, was on its way to Dehradun to Nighasan in Lakhimpur, which is located in the Kehri district of UP, when suddenly it hit a dumper near a jungle in the highway.

Police Officer Aparna Gautam said that 30-year-old Ramcharan, 50-year-old Fakhruddin, and an unidentified person passed away after the accident.

Officer Aparna added that 8 people were rushed to the district hospital.

The bodies of the 3 people have been sent for an autopsy and will be returned to their relatives after the autopsy will be done.
